How we work with you to create your dream trip to Italy.
Whether you’re looking for a getaway at a countryside villa, a big-city experience, seaside seclusion, culinary delicacies, or stunning scenery, here’s how we’ll work with you to create a personalized experience with all details handled for you.
First, we schedule a no-obligation chat by phone or zoom so I can learn more about your dreams and expectations for a trip to Italy. Then, I come up with suggestions and ideas to meet your specific interests and needs.
After you’ve had a chance to review these ideas, we design a day-by-day itinerary that brings your dream a step closer to reality. This step involves extensive research, checking availability of our trusted partners in Italy, and more. So, at this point you’ll need to make a modest investment--a $250 non-refundable fee ($500 for groups of 6 people or more) that is applied to the total cost of the trip.
Once we settle on an itinerary that meets your interests and budget, we provide a per person package price and list everything included. We don’t book your flights, but I organize all details on the ground -- and handle all bookings and payments. This saves you time, stress, and money, but more importantly, you have access to Viaggi Gusto’s wealth of knowledge and connections acquired over 20+ years – background and experience not available to someone planning their own trip.
A 50% deposit is required to begin all bookings. Final payment is due 120 days before your departure date. Payments can be made via ACH transfer or credit card through a secure payment platform. There is a fee associated with credit card payments only.
A month before you travel, I provide you with a detailed itinerary that includes departure times, contact information, tickets and confirmation of accommodations and activities. We also provide recommendations for restaurants, tips for traveling in Italy and suggestions for more things to do that aren’t included in the itinerary.
We keep in close contact with you while you’re traveling, and we have partners in Italy who will be available to you 24/7 in case of an emergency.
